Worcestershire resident wins one week stay at Ottley’s Plantation Inn

BASSETERRRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 26TH 2009 (CUOPM) - Abberley, Worcestershire resident Ruth Quinn has won the first prize of a one week stay at St. Kitts’ Ottley’s Plantation Inn.
The prize, worth approximately £2,000, was won at the Worcester Races that bought some tropical cheer to more than 2,500 race-goers on Tuesday, August 18.
Select World Travel took the Caribbean to a staff member from the company, which has a branch in Great Malvern, and heard the racecourse was holding a special Caribbean theme to its evening meeting and so it was decided to prepare some prizes for the event.
A free prize draw was available at Select World Travel’s stand at the races and attracted a considerable amount of interest.
Fourth prize of a special dressing gown was donated by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and won by Peter Whittaker of Great Malvern, third prize of a case of sparkling Beringer Rose wine was donated by Sandals Caribbean Hotels and was won by Kay Staten of Kidderminster.
The second prize of a £200 holiday voucher was won by Lawson Frogatt of Solihull and donated by Seasons in Style Holidays and the first prize of a week’s accommodation at Ottley's Plantation Inn on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts, was won by Quinn.
