BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Federation’s National Under-20 Girls football team continued to dominate the CONCACAF Qualifiers with yet another comprehensive victory to progress to the next round of the competition.

The junior Sugar Girls thumped Barbados 4-1 last evening (Jul. 19) to make it three wins in as many matches.

Playing before a very supportive crowd at the Warner Park Football Stadium, the home team drew first blood off the boot of Ellie Stoked in the 13th minute.

Kaylee Bennett followed her teammate in the 33rd minute and double strikes by Trishanie Warner in the 73rd and 89th minutes sealed the deal for St. Kitts and Nevis.

Previously, the home side had registered wins against Anguilla and Grenada.

In the other game of the evening, Grenada brushed off St. Vincent and Grenada 4-0.

Kristal Julien found the back of the net in the 3rd minute before  Monique George 35th minute strike doubled the lead.

Sheranda Charles added a third in the 51st minute before Kimel Robertson wrote her name on the score sheet in the 75th minute.

Action continues tomorrow with another double header at the same venue.
