Renewed Roadmap of Cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco to benefit the people of St. Kitts and Nevis

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, July 26, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris has welcomed the establishment of a renewed Roadmap of Cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco, noting that it will redound to the overall benefit of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis. 

     

    The key elements of the Roadmap of Cooperation Programme for the period 2019-2021 are public infrastructure, energy, agriculture, health, education, fisheries, diplomacy and government training, tourism, handicraft and sustainable development.
     
    “I am assured that the Kingdom of Morocco wishes to enhance the efficacy of the delivery of cooperation between the Kingdom and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. We have identified very practical approaches to ensure that the programme benefits a large number of our citizens,” Prime Minister Harris said.
     
    The honourable prime minister is currently leading a high-level St. Kitts-Nevis delegation on a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco from July 25-29, 2019.
     
    Prime Minister Harris is accompanied by the Minister of Public Infrastructure et al., the Honourable Ian Patches Liburd; Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Andrew Skerritt; St. Kitts and Nevis Ambassador to CARICOM and OECS Commissioner, His Excellency Sydney Osborne, and His Excellency Ambassador Michael Powell, Special Envoy in the Office of the Prime Minister.
