BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Federation’s Under-17 girls team continue their winning streak in the CONCACAF Championship Qualifiers, as they mauled their United States Virgin Islands counterparts 10-nil in what can be classified as a one-sided affair.
In Wednesday’s (Aug. 21) mauling, Ellie Stokes had found the back of the net five times.
She was ably assisted by the consistent Jahzara Claxton and Trishanie Warner, who both added their names on the scorer’s sheet with double strikes.
Not to be left out, Drucilla Thomas also found the back of the net to complete the USVI woes.
The Sugar Girls are on top of their game as they have won all three of their matches in the first round of Qualifiers played at the Warner Park Football Stadium.
After a day’s rest, the girls will be playing against Barbados in Bridgetown at 7:00 p.m. today.
Team St. Kitts and Nevis is currently competing in Group C of the Qualifiers along with Barbados, the USVI and Belize.
