Friday 30th August 2019 – St. John, Antigua -- Digicel is pleased to announce that it has reached an amicable agreement with the Government of Antigua & Barbuda in regard to the provision of future spectrum arrangements to enhance telephony and Internet services in the country.
Digicel welcomes this positive engagement and believes this signals a new era of constructive relations with the Government and will benefit citizens, businesses as well as the Government and Government services in Antigua & Barbuda. We welcome particularly the automatic continuity of our licenses beyond 2021. This will allow us to invest further to bring world class services to the people of Antigua & Barbuda.
