Driver suffers fractured wrist in traffic accident

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AN early morning traffic accident has left one man nursing a fractured wrist and minor injuries to his face.

     

    According to a police press release, the accident occurred at about 7:00 a.m. yesterday (Sept. 19) and involved vehicle R259, which is owned by Courtesy Car Rental and was driven by Dwayne Sabin of Ottleys Village.

    Preliminary investigations revealed that while Sabin was heading towards the round-about, he lost control of the vehicle and ran into a section of the entrance to FLOW’s Headquarters in Needsmust.

    Sabin was transported to the JNF General Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and discharged.

    Police said investigations into the matter are ongoing.
