Wanted teen continues to stay ahead of police

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – WANTED teen T’Quan Kurtney Murray continues to stay one step ahead of the police who are trying to track him down for three crimes he allegedly committed more than two years ago.

     

    On the heels of a wanted bulletin just over a month ago, police have issued another for the 19-year-oldof Fig Tree.

    According to the bulletin, Murray is wanted for one count of Murder and two counts of Attempted Murder, which were committed on June 6, 2017 in St. Paul’s Village.

    He is 5'10" tall, slim in built, light brown in complexion, weighs 142 pounds and has black hair.

    Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Violent Crimes Unit at 465-1887, the nearest police station or the Crime Hotline at 707.

    The crimes for which Murray is accused of committing occurred shortly after mid-day on June 6, 2017, when there was a shooting incident in Rawlins Ground, St. Paul’s Village that resulted in injuries to three men.

    The injured men were identified as 32-year-old Jahma Francis of Willet's Project in St. Paul's Village, an 18-year-old also of Willet’s Project, and a 22-year-old resident of Willet's Estate.

    They were transported to the Joseph N France General Hospital, where Francis was pronounced dead. 

    Francis was the 14th homicide victim for that year.
