CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – A family outing went horribly wrong today (Sept. 2) when head of the Mills family of Chapel Street, Ramsbury, Charlestown disappeared at sea off Indian Castle.

SKNVibes understands that Brian Mills, his wife and two children – all reportedly excellent swimmers, went to the beach for some family time but things took a turn for the worse when Brian was swimming and apparently encountered difficulties and disappeared.

According to the police, they received a call around 1:00 p.m. that someone had encountered difficulties while swimming off Indian Castle. They notified the Coast Guard and went to the scene from where a search was launched for Mills. Members of the community, family and friends assisted but when the search was called off because of fading light Mills was not found.

A police source indicated that the search will resume at daylight tomorrow.
