BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, October 29, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) -- Of the six teams taking part in the best-of-the-rest competition of the 24th edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League, Small Corner Bar Domino Club was the first to advance to the finals.

In the three knockout games held on Monday October 28, Small Corner Bar Domino Club returned the best results when it beat Christchurch Domino Club 13-8 in their well contested encounter at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project.

By virtue of that result, Small Corner Bar has advanced to the finals of the best-of-the-rest competition. Scorer for this all important game was veteran domino player, Horatio Thomas.

Past champions, Unity Patriots Domino Club fought off a fierce onslaught coming from a determined Molineux Domino Club when the two met at Cuban Bar in Lodge Project. The past champions rallied all their experience and at the end overcame Molineux 13-10.

An identical score was recorded in the second knockout game that was played at the Lodge Community Centre, where Giants Domino Club beat Sylvers Domino Club 13-10. Scorer for this game was another domino player, Casey Johnson.

Unity Patriots and Giants will now meet in a semi-final game tomorrow (Wednesday October 30) to determine the winner who will face Small Corner Bar in the finals of the best-of-the-rest competition in this year’s edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League.

With the results from the games last night (Monday October 28), it now means that Christchurch, Molineux, and Sylvers are effectively out of the 24th edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition.

Domino action continues tonight (Tuesday October 29) from 7:30 pm with semi-finals matches that will see defending champions Parsons Domino Club come up against Guinness Domino Club at the Lodge Community Centre, and Saddlers Domino Club facing Unstoppable Domino Club at Cuban Bar.

The Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League, which is the longest running domino league in the country, is sponsored by Prime Minister and Area Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher Seven, Dr the Hon Timothy Harris.
