NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (November 15, 2019) -- The following is an advisory from the Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC), regarding a scheduled power outage in the areas of Pump Road and Upper Government Road.
Power outage: Saturday, November 16th, 2019 and Sunday, November 17th, 2019
Time: (Saturday, November 16th) - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., (Sunday November 17th) – 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why: To upgrade the Charlestown 1 Feeder as part of NEVLEC’s overall plan to increase the flexibility of the distribution system to improve the reliability
Areas to be affected: Pump Road and Upper Government Road
NEVLEC apologises for the inconveniences that may be caused by the outage, and reminds customers that in each case service may be delayed to later than the time specified.
