The 55-year-old was charged for the March 10, 2017 death of his fellow village, 54-year-old Ashton Christopher.
The then Commander of District ‘A’, Superintendent Cromwell Henry, had told this publication that shortly before 8:00 p.m. on the day in question, Edwards had allegedly stabbed Christopher once to the left side of his chest.
The incident, he indicated, occurred within a shop in Taylor’s Village.
And a subsequent police press release informed that Edwards was arrested shortly after the incident and later charged with Murder.
Edwards was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison awaiting his sentencing hearing.
