BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE winners of the 2019 Mr. GQ and Ms. Swimwear Pageants were recently crowned at Carnival in Warner Park.
Avis Glasgow strutted her way across the stage in her various swimwear to win the crown after amassing 1033 points to beat First Runner-Up T’ Quani McDowell with 1031 points and Second Runner-Up Onique Phipps with 974.5 points.
The Carnival Committee confirmed that Glasgow took the Miss Photogenic Award as well as the Awards for the Creative National Pride Swimwear, Identical Swim and the Glitz and Glam.
Phipps carted off the Queen Of Social Media and the Creative Environmental Awards, while McDowell won the Miss Amity title, the Chairperson's Award and the Best Interview title.
In the Mr. GQ Competition, St. Clair Williams topped the field of six, amassing 1026.5 points in the process to take the title.
The First Runner-Up spot went to Brandon Cox and Brian Perdereaux was adjudged Second Runner-Up.
Perdereaux took the Chairman and Mr. Popular Awards, while Cox copped the Mr. Fit, Best GQ Wear and Beachwear titles.
The Mr. Photogenic title went to Earl Brotherson, while My Brother’s Keeper award was won by Kimar Bigby and the Best Carnival Costume Award was taken by Rawlins.
