CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – THE Federation has recorded its first traffic accident for the year on Nevis, which resulted in injuries to four persons.
When contacted, Divisional Commander Superintendent Lyndon David informed that the accident occurred in the wee hours of New Year’s Day and had involved a motorcar that slammed into a wall in the Cotton Ground area.
David stated that four occupants of the vehicle had suffered injuries and were transported to the Alexandra Hospital, but, at the time, he was unable to provide further details.
The Divisional Commander however took the opportunity to remind motorists of the safety rules while driving on the Federation’s roads.
