BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A male resident of Camps Village was on Sunday morning (Jan. 12) robbed by an armed bandit who had intruded his home.
Police reported that the incident had occurred some time after 5:00 a.m. on the day in question.
Police also reported that the masked bandit, who was armed with what appeared to be a gun, had stolen an undisclosed sum of money and a number of items before fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, however, no one was reported injured during the incident.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing and the police are asking anyone who might have information leading to the apprehension of the bandit to contact the Criminal Investigation Department at the Basseterre Police Station by dialling 465-2241, the nearest police station or the Crime Hotline at 707.
