BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE lifeless body of an unidentified individual was discovered yesterday (Feb. 6) within a house in Boyd’s Village and is currently in police custody pending investigation.
According to a police press release, the discovery was made police officers some time after 2:00 p.m. yesterday.
The scene was processed by members of the Forensic Unit and the incident is currently being investigated by the Violent Crime Unit.
An autopsy is expected to be carried out on the remains shortly to determine the exact cause of death.
The police did not disclose the sex of the individual but stated that tests would be conducted to ascertain the identity.
