Sean Paul to headline Nigeria show in honour of Guinness Day

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- JAMAICAN artiste Sean Paul will headline a show in Lagos, Nigeria, joining over 60 acts who are set to perform for more than 60 hours in Dublin, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos and New York.  The A-list performances will take place on Thursday, September 24 in celebration of Arthur Guinness Day. 
     
    The celebrations are being held to mark 250 years since Arthur Guinness signed the 9,000 year lease on the St. James’ Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland. 
     
    Arthur Guinness and his family were prominent philanthropists in Ireland so The Arthur’s Day celebrations will kick off in Dublin, the Irish capital, with a toast to Arthur at 17:59 local time. 
     
    Dublin will host 33 events simultaneously, including a major performance at the St. James’ Gate Brewery, home of Guinness.  Some of the best bands around will play in Dublin’s finest pubs.
     
    Included on the global line-up are The Black Eyed Peas, who will perform in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
     
    Arthur Guinness was the founder of the globally renowned Guinness brewery business.  A visionary entrepreneur, he laid the foundations for the creation of Guinness which is still an iconic worldwide brand in the 21st century.
