BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - SEVERAL days after his body was discovered floating in the waters in Dieppe Bay, police said an autopsy has confirmed Anthony’s Jules death was the result of drowning.
The autopsy, which was conducted by Pathologist Dr. Naudice Phillip, concluded that death was as a result of asphyxia secondary to drowning.
Police in a media statement said that the 51-year-old St. Paul’s resident was on a raft fishing when it was later discovered that the boat overturned and he was nowhere to be seen.
Those on the beach at the time pulled the man’s lifeless body from the water and later wrapped him in a sheet according to reports.
