KINGSTON, Jamaica- Leader of the Alliance, Bounty Killer no longer faces charges of assault and occasioning bodily harm on a pregnant woman.

The charges were dismissed after the 22-year-old woman failed to make an appearance before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court yesterday.

According to 876radio.com, the alleged incident happened Wednesday, May 20.  The complainant alleged that Bounty Killer was partying at a popular night spot in New Kingston when he saw her.

She alleged that he approached her, saying “Wah yuh ah do duh yah?” before shoving her in the chest.  The woman also alleged that Bounty Killer punched her several times to the face and body.  She also claimed that his associates jumped in and started punching her in the head.

According to the media report, she reported the alleged incident the same day.  However, the police arrested and charged Bounty Killer on Thursday, June 18.  He was then granted bail then ordered to return to court yesterday, Thursday, September 10.

876radio reported that the singer also has a matter before the traffic court.

Bounty Killer is expected to face the court later this year to answer to several counts of reckless and dangerous driving as well as other traffic violations, including refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test.

Some of Bounty Killer’s hits include ‘Poor People Fed up’, ‘Down in the Ghetto’, ‘Babylon System’ and ‘Mama’.  He is also known for his ongoing feud with fellow Jamaican Beenie Man.
