Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis – April 11, 2020 – Communications and Entertainment provider, Flow confirms that there has been an enormous positive response to the recent offer of free access to its online educational study platform – Flow Study.
Country Manager, David Lake said, “We are really encouraged by the initial response from students across the Federation. The fact that more than 7,500 students registered within the first 3 weeks signals that there is a very real need for these types of services, especially now, as parents are faced with the reality of homeschooling their children during the COVID-19 crisis.
Lake, added “this gift from the Cable & Wireless Charitable Foundation (CWCF) enables us to give students access to this much needed content through June 15th. The Flow Study Portal provides a suite of services which allow students to continue their studies at home. Our main concern continues to be ensuring that all students in the Federation have access to the education they truly deserve, with as minimal disruption to their learning as possible during this unprecedented time.”
Nivlac Powell, a form 11 student of ICCS, currently using the program said, “Flow Study came in at the right time. Seeing that we are in lockdown, I am getting the same opportunities as I would in school. Flow Study is the best!”
Access for students ages 5 to 18 is available via Flow Study e-Learning services through the Flow Study mobile apps (Android), https://flowstudy.co/registration and Flow EVO - Flow on Demand.
Flow Study offers:
- Over 500 video lessons spanning the CSEC curriculum
- Access to digital courses for the K-8 curriculum
- Question bank and solutions with over 40,000 exam style questions and solutions for 35 subjects
- 10 years of past paper solutions for over 17 subjects
- Digital encyclopedia with over 9,500 digital animations and simulations for four subject areas
- Virtual science labs with more than 500 digital laboratory simulations for science subjects and skills gap testing for over 30 subjects.
