Basseterre, St. Kitts (December 01, 2005): The Early Childhood Development Unit (ECDU) continues its efforts to ensure that its employees are empowered to deliver a high quality programme to their clients by providing continuous training for day care workers.
Several topics were discussed at the most recent training including managerial skills; time management; effective work delegation; setting policies and orientation of new employees.
The workshop which was held at the Industrial Site Day Care Centre was conducted by ECDU Coordinator Mrs Vanta Walters assisted by other Unit Staff.
Mrs Walters said she hopes that supervisors who attended the workshop were empowered with the necessary skills to execute their many roles and responsibilities more effectively and efficiently.
