BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, September 30, 2020 (MMS-SKN) -- Former champions, Lodge Domino Club, on Tuesday September 29 sailed into the final four of the 25th edition of Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League, as defending champions Parsons Domino Club and the other former champions Unity Domino Club suffered shock defeats.

Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League, which is the longest running such league in the Federation, is sponsored by Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, and Area Parliamentary Representative for St. Christopher Seven, Dr the Hon Timothy Harris.

Playing on the grounds of the Tabernacle Police Station, former champions Lodge beat Christ Church Domino Club 14-5, to gain enough points to send them into the final four following their win on Monday September 28 at the Lodge Community Centre after they beat Giants Domino Club 13-5 in their game which had been rescheduled from Sunday September 27.

However, Small Corner Bar Domino Club upset defending champions Parsons Domino Club 13-8 in their game held at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project; while at the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex in Molineux, Mansion Domino Club scattered former champions Unity Domino Club with a 13-7 beating.

Phillips Domino Club had to come from behind, but in the process lost a point to a determined Giants Domino Club whom they ended up beating 13-11 when they met at the Edgar Gilbert Sporting Complex pavilion. With that win, the team has jumped to the top of the points table.

In other games, Tabernacle Domino Club beat Sylvers Domino Club 13-8 in their encounter at the Lodge Community Centre; Molineux Domino Club beat Saddlers Domino Club 13-8 in a game played on the grounds of the Tabernacle Police Station; while at Cuban Bar in Lodge Project, Unstoppable Domino Club spilled Guinness Domino Club 13-8.

*Unity, *Tabernacle, *Molineux, and *Guinness, who had played one game more than the other teams whose games were affected by a power outage experienced in most parts of the island on Thursday September 17, have completed their preliminary fixtures.

The teams whose games were rescheduled will complete their preliminary fixtures in the 25th edition of Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League on Thursday 1st October at the usual three venues, with all games starting at 7:00 pm.
