BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - WITH the Federation’s borders scheduled to reopen shortly, business entity Innotech Services Limited has chipped in with medical equipment to assist with the screening of inbound passengers at the RLB International Airport.

Innotech Services Limited presented the St. Christopher Air and Seaports Authority with equipment worth over $50,000.

In presenting the thirty-four TriMedika Non-Contact Medical Grade Thermometers and one HIK Vision Temperature Screening Thermographic Handheld Camera, Innotech’s Anthony DaSilva reminded that the company has a vested interest in the well-being of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“And it is, because of this commitment, we have decided to donate over EC$50,000 worth of medical equipment that represents the latest technology in helping to detect temperature levels of incoming passengers starting on 31st October when commercial travels resumes.”

The donation comes against the backdrop of the company recently being appointed as the Construction Management Consultants for the New Basseterre High School, which is to be built at Ponds Estate, and undertaking works and projects with the Ministry of Health and the Solid Waste Management Corporation.

Playing a role in getting St. Kitts and Nevis ready to welcome thousands of visitors and returning nationals at the end of the month, DaSilva said that is the primary focus at the moment

While giving the Transport Minister assurance, assisting St. Kitts and Nevis to be ready, DaSilva explained that “Innotech Services is now ready to join your efforts by providing the requisite medical equipment to help minimize the risks associated with the reopening of the borders”.

“...let me state with certainty that we are equally committed and would welcome any engagement with the Nevis Island Administration to establish similar levels of cooperation and partnership to provide equipment for the Vance Amory International Airport.

“We are also interested in working with you for the preparations at Port Zante when the time arrives for the return of cruise passengers.”
