BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE late reggae legend, Robert Nesta Marley, who paved the way for many other Jamaican artistes, has now gone bobble head. That’s right; fans can now purchase a bobble head which was recently released that depicts Marley.
This Bob Marley bobble head doll also sings one of the reggae icon’s most famous songs, ‘Buffalo Soldier’, and is also fixed upon a stand with the words erected across the front.
One source out of Jamaican told the media that “this will be popular with all his fans and fans of reggae music which celebrates even the most difficult of struggles. A must have for all those who collect celebrities statues and bobble heads. Everyone needs a face of a hero for inspiration and motivation”.
Although it is uncertain whether or not the doll will be available in stores, it can be ordered online for US$10.99.
Today, Bob Marley still remains the most widely known and respected performer of reggae music, and is credited for helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari Movement of which he was a committed member.
He had many, many hits. Some of the more popular ones include ‘I Shot the Sheriff’, ‘No Woman, No Cry’, ‘Exodus’, ‘Could You Be Loved, ‘Stir It Up’, ‘Jamming, ‘Redemption Song’, ‘Three Little Birds’, ‘One Love’ and ‘Iron Lion Zion’.
