CARICOM mounts Election Observation Mission to Belize

    (CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) -- The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has mounted a CARICOM Election Observation Mission (CEOM) to observe the conduct of the General Elections to be held in Belize on 11 November 2020.

     

    A seven member CARICOM Mission, comprising Observers from Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and Suriname, has been mounted to observe the General Elections.  The Mission will be assisted by two Staff members of the CARICOM Secretariat.
     
    The Core Group which includes the Chief of Mission, will arrive in Belize on 6 November 2020, and the remaining members will arrive on 7 November 2020. The Members of the Mission will depart Belize on 13 November 2020.
