Cotton Ground resident is Federation’s latest homicide victim

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - A family is today mourning the loss of one of their loved ones, identified by local media as Bernel Nisbett, who was gunned down within the confines of his Cotton Ground, Nevis residence.
 
Though police confirmed the shooting incident, details on the incident have not been forthcoming just yet.
 
However, SKNVibes News understands that the young man was gunned down on the patio of his home around 11: 00 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 11).
 
This is the ninth homicide for the year and comes after a period of quietude, and followed the Monday, December 7 shooting-death of Akeem Christopher of Newtown.
 
The homicide comes less than 24 hours after Denrick Pemberton of Hanley's Road was shot and injured.
 
Police reported that he sustained a single shot to his leg and was treated at the Alexandra Hospital.
