Autopsy reveals cause of Francis’ death

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE have indicated that an autopsy was conducted on the body of 54-year-old Bevington Francis and it concluded that he died as a result of acute subdural hematoma.
According to UCLA Health, the medical term means that Francis died from a “clot of blood that develops between the surface of the brain and the dura mater, the brain's tough outer covering”.
Police said that the autopsy was conducted on the Dieppe Bay resident on December 30, 2020 by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nunez.
He concluded that death was as a result of acute subdural hematoma due to severe head injury secondary blunt force trauma.
