By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE joint search operation continues for fisherman Clovis Williams, who was reported lost at sea in mid-December.

Police confirmed to reporters today (Jan. 8) that Williams has not been found but ranks of the Police Force and the Coast Guard are still searching and have made checks up to this week.

According to the police, Williams, 39, a Green Tree resident, went missing after he dove into the sea in the Verchild’s area to pull up a fish pot.

Police in a media statement explained that close to 3:00 p.m. on December 19, Williams and two other persons were out at sea when the man dove into the sea and was never seen since.

Divers were sent into the water to search while fishermen in their boats assisted, but Williams was not found.
