KINGSTON, Jamaica - JAMAICAN dancehall sensation Sean Paul continues to make huge strides in his chosen career path, as he was last night (Sept. 30) declared winner of the best album of the year at the Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBO).

According to CaribWorldNews.com, the artiste won the Best Reggae Gong for the second time as he surprisingly beat out fellow Jamaicans Movado, Serani, Taurus Riley and Vybez Kartel for the honour.

Sean Paul’s new 19 track album ‘Imperial Blaze’ has been receiving great reviews since it was released in August. The album features songs such as ‘She Want Me’, ‘Lately’, ‘Hold My Hand’, ‘Pepperpot’, ‘Now That I Got You’, ‘Birthday Suit’ and ‘She Wanna Be Down’.

The 14th Annual MOBO Awards took place at the SECC, Glasgow and was hosted by Reggie Yates and superstar Keri Hilson. The show saw jaw dropping performances from JLS, Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz, Chipmunk and Keri Hilson, among others.

The evening also paid homage to the late Michael Jackson, with a moving tribute led by his sister and brother La Toya and Jermaine Jackson.
