BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - ONE of the Marley brothers, Julian ‘JuJu’ Marley, is gearing up to embark on a cross-country US tour set to take off on October 8 in Jacksonville, Florida. He will be accompanied by members of his Uprising band.
The tour will feature performances of songs from his latest album ‘Awake’, released in April, as well as other classical hits from his 20-odd years in the music industry.
Accompanying him on stage will be Grammy Award winning musician, producer and older brother, Stephan Marley, as well as a young and up-coming reggae artiste, Javaughn, who is set to open for the band.
According to dancehallusa.com, Julian’s album has already been labelled as one of his career best. Awake is his third studio release and has already topped the number one slot for Reggae downloads on iTunes.
They also added that his latest single, ‘Violence in the Streets’ featuring younger brother Damian, has quickly climbed the online viral charts with the music video already receiving over a million hits on popular music sites.
