BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - HEALTH officials in Antigua and Barbuda have confirmed a number of positive cases of the Coronavirus at Her Majesty's Prison in St. John’s.
Reports indicate that 32 prisoners have returned positive results following tests that were conducted within the facility.
Media reports suggested that the tests were undertaken following an inmate who returned a positive test.
All of the inmates were said to be asymptomatic.
Those positive persons are said to have been relocated to an isolation facility, where they would be treated and kept away from other inmates.
