Initial reports reaching SKNVibes indicate that tremors were felt for 10-20 seconds in downtown Basseterre, St. Peters and other areas throughout St. Kitts around 12:30 p.m.

These reports were shortly thereafter confirmed by the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre located in Trinidad.
