BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LEAD keyboardist and programmer of the Nu Vybes Band Darren ‘Miller’ Thomas recently had a run-in with the law which resulted in his arrest for possession of cannabis.
According to Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell Henry, Thomas was arrested along with three other persons during a regular Stop and Search Routine on Saturday, October 3 in Dieppe Bay.
He is currently on bail and is expected to appear shortly at the Sandy Point Magistrate’s Court.
Thomas joined the Nu Vybes Band in 2007 and was recently promoted to lead keyboardist and programmer following the exit of Kelvin ‘Ras Kelly’ Kelly.
The band will be performing this weekend at the annual Miami Carnival celebrations.
