BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE have arrested and charged a 32-year-old female resident of Buckley’s Estate for allegedly stealing over EC$390,000 from her previous place of employment.
The female’s name was given as Latoya Rawlins, who, police said in a press release, was charged on two warrants in the first instance for the offence of Money Laundering (by possession of money that is the proceeds of an offence.
She was also charged on two Warrants in the first instance for the offence of Larceny by Servant.
The offences were allegedly committed between January 2019 and August 2020 in Basseterre.
Rawlins was charged on Thursday (May 13) and was bailed on the following day in the sum of $200,000 with two sureties.
