CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - POLICE on Nevis are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigations into an armed robbery that occurred in Charlestown on Monday (May 17).
In their request, the police however did not state in a communiqué exactly where the robbery took place, only to say it “occurred at an establishment in Charlestown”.
The communiqué stated that “the police received a report on May 17 that a man was robbed of a sum of money by an unknown masked assailant sometime after 10:00 p.m. while at the establishment”.
It went on to say that the assailant was armed with what appeared to be a gun and that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
They are however appealing to anyone who might have any information in relation to this incident to call the Charlestown Police Station at 469-5391 or the nearest police station.
