Six new cases found on St. Kitts

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Federation this evening (May 24) recorded six additional COVID-19 cases, as the Ministry of Health continues with its contact tracing exercise.

     

    These latest positive cases bring to 60 the overall number of cases on the twin-island Fedearation.

     

    A media statement from the Ministry informed that within the last 24 health officials recorded six additional cases, all from the same household.
     
    These latest positives bring to eight the number of cases reported by the Ministry after earlier reports this morning highlight cases 53 and 54.

     

    The six people are in isolation at a COVID-19 certified facility.

     

    Since the onset of the pandemic,  46 cases have been reported for St. Kitts and 14 for Nevis.

     

    According to the Ministry, 45 cases have fully recovered with zero deaths.

     

    There are now 15 active cases in the Federation.
