BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Federation has increased by one over the last 24 hours.
A media statement from the Ministry of Health in Basseterre, issued late yesterday (June 2), indicated that the new case is a national who has been placed in isolation at a COVID-19 certified facility.
This one brings the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases to 74 with 60 on St. Kitts and 14 on Nevis.
According to the Ministry of Health, the Federation has not reported any death from the Coronavirus and 48 cases have fully recovered.
There are currently 26 active cases and the individualss are reportedly in stable condition while being monitored.
Health officials are currently in deep contact tracing to locate all persons who would have been close contacts of every local case.
