CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - THE lifeless body discovered yesterday afternoon (June 3) in Bath Plains was identified as 52-year-old national of the United States of America named James Edward Shuford Jr.
According to a police communiqué, officers received a report sometime before 2:00 p.m. yesterday of the death of a man in Bath Plains.
In response, the officers found Shuford’s lifeless body hanging in a doorway inside his Bath Plains apartment.
The District Medical Officer was summoned to scene and pronounced him dead.
Personnel from the Crime Scene Unit also visited and processed the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of his death.
