From June 9th to July 14th, 2021, the Alliance Française of St. Kitts and Nevis is organizing the fourth edition of the French Singing Competition. Similar to the competition of the previous year, this one will be held virtually. The prizes are oriented to support the participants by providing cash vouchers and food baskets. All residents of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis can apply to participate in the competition.
The three categories are as follows:
• Children category: for individuals between 4 years old and 10 years old.
• Adolescent category: for individuals between 11 years old and 17 years old.
• Adult category: for individuals 18 years old and above.
The registration for participants is free.
This French Singing Competition 2021 is organized by the Alliance Française de St. Kitts and Nevis, supported by the Ministry of Education of St Kitts and Nevis, as well as the Embassy of France to the OECS member states and Barbados. The Gold sponsor of the Alliance Française is Corporate Solutions Limited. The French Singing Competition sponsors are Jad.cash, Island Bakeries and Corks and Screws.
Song Selection
A list of 3 songs have been selected for the children category. For adolescents and adults, 4 songs are available. The jury will be evaluating the interpretation of the song, rhythm, and French pronunciation. The top three winners of each category will receive cash and/or food vouchers.
