KINGSTON, Jamaica - DANCEHALL singer Black Ryno of the Portmore Empire, who is currently one of the newest and hottest dancehall artistes out of Jamaica, was on Sunday (Oct. 11) released from jail after being locked up overnight for allegedly assaulting his neighbour.
According to 876radio, Black Ryno, whose given name is Romane Anderson, became irate after learning that his neighbour had allegedly damaged the water pipe infrastructure to his premises, disrupting the flow of the precious commodity to his apartment.
The media house added that it is understood that this was done because his neighbour, who is also the strata manager of the complex, accused the entertainer of non-payment of water bills.
It further stated that an argument ensued and the entertainer allegedly kick the strata manager to the ground and continued to repeatedly kick him, causing several bruises and minor lacerations to his body.
After the police were summoned to the scene, Anderson was arrested and charged with occasioning bodily harm and unlawful wounding and will appear before the court on Wednesday, October 21.
