TEMPO Founder, Chairman, & CEO Frederick A. Morton, Jr. will be on hand at the Randall “Doc” James Racetrack this Sunday, October 11th, during the VI-Puerto Rico Friendship Day races, to announce the event. Mr. Morton will also host a press conference on St. Croix within the next two weeks to unveil further details of this signature event, of which the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism is the Presenting Sponsor.
This year, TEMPO is celebrating four years on air, having commenced broadcast on November 21, 2005. Notably, it is also celebrating two years as an Independent and wholly-owned Caribbean Company.
“TEMPO is proud to partner with the USVI Department of Tourism to return to the territory with its signature anniversary event,” says Morton. “Who can forget the launch event at the Fredericksted Pier, the legendary TEMPO Turns 1 event at Cramer Park, Rock De TEMPO in St. Thomas or TEMPO Turns 2 at the Agricultural Fair Grounds.

An Early Bird special is available that should not be missed. Tickets purchased prior to October 27, 2009 will be priced at $25 general admission, $35 bleacher section, and $100 VIP. After October 27, prices are $35 general admission, $45 bleacher section, $125 VIP.
