CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance to bring to justice two bandits who had robbed the owners of a restaurant in the Cades Bay area on Friday night (Sept. 24).
According to a police communiqué, initial investigations revealed that sometime close to 11:00 p.m. on the day in question, two masked individuals, one with what appeared to be a firearm and the other with a machete, rushed through the main entrance of the restaurant and robbed the owners of an undisclosed sum of money before making good their escape.
Fortunately, no one was reportedly injured during the robbery.
As investigations continue, the police are however urging anyone who might have information about this incident to contact the Cotton Ground Police Station by dialling 469-5269, the nearest police station or the Crime Hotline at 707.
