BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AS the long arm of the continues to bring to justice those who violate womenfolk in the twin-island Federation, two men were charged for separate sexual sexual offences.
According to a police communiqué, a man from District ‘B’ was charged on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 for the offence of Rape.
He had allegedly committed the offence on Thursday, July 1, 2021 and has since been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.
The other man, according to the police, hails from District ‘A’.
He was charged on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 for the offence of Indecent Assault allegedly committed on Sunday, April 18, 2021 and is currently in police custody.
Only recently a former government official was found guilty by the court for the offence of Indecent Assault.
He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison and will have to reappear in court for sentencing on Monday, October 25 following the presentation of a Social Enquiry Report ordered by the Judge.
