BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- WITH many in the Federation still shocked by the news of the death of prominent Attorney-at-Law Anthony Johnson, his colleagues in the Bar Association have extended condolences to his bereaved family members.

In a media statement, the St. Kitts and Nevis Bar Association said it received the news of the “sudden and untimely death of our learned friend Anthony L. Johnson with deep shock and sadness. We send condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. They will remain in our prayers”.

“Anthony, the Managing Partner of Johnson and Associates, practiced law for over 25 years in the British Virgin Islands and St. Kitts & Nevis  and was a widely respected member of our profession. Anthony was also a stalwart in the Federation’s football and entertainment communities. He will be dearly missed”.

Articulated by the President of the Association, Garth Wilkin, the statement added: “We offer our support, thoughts and prayers to his family and our other colleagues – Anthony’s  son, Shabazz  Johnson, and Anthony’s law partner, Vadeesha  John-Brookes. May they find solace in the knowledge that Anthony was loved, appreciated and admired in the profession and beyond. We pray that Anthony rests in eternal peace.”
