Nevis reports third fatality
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Federation, on Monday evenibg (Oct. 11), recorded another COVID-19-related death as the number of confirmed cases of the virus continues to climb.
In its latest data, the Ministry of Health Situation Report Chart which was released yesterday and showed a 20th death with a further 23 new confirmed cases within the 24-hour time span.
This latest death was reported on Nevis and the Situation Report showed that the number of deaths recorded on that island had moved to three with zero new cases in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases of COVID-19 has fallen below the 1,000 mark, standing at 984 with 1,431 deemed to have recovered.
The recent cases have taken the overall number of confirmed cases to 2,435 with 2,041 being reported on St. Kitts and 394 on Nevis.
