BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- POLICE have confirmed that one person had died yesterday afternoon (Oct. 21) during a fire that engulfed a home in the vicinity of the Old Sugar Factory, while another is said to be hospitalised.
The circumstances surrounding the fire have not been released at this time, but police informed reporters that there was a fire at a house in the vicinity of the airport road with a number of people inside the building.
In their notice, the police could not provide details; however one person was rushed to the JNF General Hospital with serious injuries.
According to the police, a female had died and a male remains hospitalised.
