Deon and Associates opens new Belmont Gardens Development

By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes
CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - Nevis has a new addition to its landscape which has changed the environment of the small island and, in the process, created significant employment during the pandemic.

That is the brand new Belmont Gardens Development which features high-end residences, the Sir Simeon Daniel Museum and the Duty Free Gift Shop which allows for premier shopping and dining experience.

This new development is the fifth in a line of luxury developments undertaken by Deon and Associates on Nevis over the last 26 years, and it has caught the attention of many while bringing more visibility to the island.

Officially unveiled in Leeds, United Kingdom in August 2017, the project was carried out in three phases with the launch being the first phase; the second being the turning of the sod 14 months later, and the third being the construction work.

The complex was recently officially completed and opened on Friday, October 29 with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony that included family members, dignitaries, including Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris and other members of the Cabinet and well-wishers and supporters.

The complex boasts the Sir Simeon Daniel Museum, which showcases his life, work and legacy on the island and other timeless tales of yesteryear. It also has an upscale dining restaurant and bar that provides premier wines and fine dining.

Moreover, in the same location there is the duty free shopping plaza which provides shopping in one location for high-end jewelry, perfumes and fashion.
