BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Police have pinned an additional charge on 50-year-old Alphonso Thompson of West Farm for his daring escape from custody last month while being treated.

Thompson, while receiving treatment for unknown reasons at the Joseph N France General Hospital, escaped police custody and was on the run for two days before he presented himself to police on October 31.

He was charged with Escaping Lawful Custody on November 1.

At the time of his escape Thompson was said to be serving a 30-day sentence for using threatening language for which he was convicted on October 22, 2021.

A wanted poster was issued for him by Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP). He is now a resident of HMP.
