CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – AN AUTOPSY performed on the body of Andy Siltcott, which was discovered on yesterday (Oct. 25) at his home in Bath Village, revealed that the 26-year-old died as a result of bilateral bronchopneumonia.

The results were released today after the procedure was performed by forensic pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez Quintana. The autopsy was witnessed by the deceased’s mother.

Jennifer Siltcott, who flew in from St. Croix yesterday, medical officers and officers of the Nevis Criminal Investigation Department.

A member of the local medical fraternity explained to this publication that bilateral bronchopneumonia is an infection in both sides of the lungs and could be caused by the inhalation of toxic substances.

The body of Siltcott, also known as Leo or Toad, was discovered by his sister shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. She raised an alarm and authorities were summoned, including District Medic Dr. Chandy Jacob who pronounced him dead.
