BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - RAHEEM DEPUSOIR, the man for whom police had issued a wanted bulletin on Tuesday (Jan. 18) and was captured four days later, was slapped with a number of charges for various criminal offences.
A police statement noted that the 22-year-old Depusoir, also known as ‘Raw” of Belle Vue, was on Monday (Jan. 24) charged for two counts of Battery on Police, two counts of Resisting Arrest, two counts of Obstruction, one count of Escaping Lawful Custody and one count of Malicious Damage.
He was also charged on the following day with Larceny of Cattle, to wit a Horse, Taking a Vehicle Without the Consent of the Owner and Robbery.
On Wednesday (Jan. 26), he received bail in the sum of $25, 000 with two sureties to appear before the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (Apr. 4), and before the Dieppe Bay Magistrate’s Court on Monday (May 9).
His bail conditions also include reporting weekly to the Basseterre Police Station and to have no contact with the Virtual Complainants.
