KINGSTON, Jamaica – ‘THE Journey Thus Far’ is a must have for true Morgan Heritage fans, as the compilation CD/DVD features songs that have without a doubt established the group as the ‘Royal Family of Reggae’.
The compilation includes 20 of the sibling group’s powerful songs including ‘Protect Us Jah’, which is from their first VP Record album; their 1999 hit ‘Don’t Haffi Dred’, which made everyone look at the whole concept of Rastafarianism and the style of dreadlocks in a different light; along with recent hits including ‘Tell Me How Come’ and ‘Nothing To Smile About’.
‘The Journey Thus Far’ was released on Tuesday, October 27 and showcases the accomplishments of the group and individual members as songwriters, producers and a touring band.
This family of talented performers has released eight studio and two live albums which have extended the audience and definition of Reggae.
According to YardFlex.com, the comprehensive disc features the group's finest recordings to date, plus two previously unreleased tracks. It also features concert footage of The Morgans performing in Senegal and Gambia, plus nine of the group's most popular videos.
